A day off calls for day drinks with friends.

When you and your roommate have your classes cancelled for the day, you have to do something fun. We decided to check out Tilted Barn Brewery in Exeter Rhode Island. The Brewery was located inside of an actual authentic barn with many tables inside and outside for groups big and small. The counter where you place your order is in front of a wall of taps serving up over a dozen options of drinks. From IPAs to lagers we were so overwhelmed with all of the options! Their menu does a great job describing exactly how the beers are made and with what ingredients. Many ingredients are locally sourced or grown on their own farm!
I started with their Sunrise Over Sea, which was a fruity sour beer, as a safe option since I am not that experimental when it comes to beer. It was a really pretty pink/purple color which was so fun. In the spirit of Fall I decided to try one of their pumpkin ales, Jack. This ale was brewed with pumpkins grown on their farm mixed with subtle spices. This one was adventurous for me but I am glad I tried it!

After a few rounds of trialing drinks and enjoying the farm's calm scenery, we each grabbed packs of our favorites of the day, mine being the Sunrise Over Sea. They serve four packs of their exclusive beers in limited batches so there are different options every time you go. I love this aspect of the brewery because you can look forward to trying new options every time you go. Overall the atmosphere and the weather was perfect to enjoy a few drinks and conversation with friends!
