Flatbread Company

Pizza Fridays, who can beat that!

As soon as classes got out on Friday I spirited out of class. I was thrilled to drive into Providence to meet some friends from my hometown for dinner. We went to a pizza place tucked into a side street off of Thayer Street in Providence. Thayer Street is a busy street flooded with great food and fun for the college students in the area as it is very easy access to the downtown colleges. We discovered Flatbread Company, who doesn’t love pizza especially on Fridays?

Flatbread Company is a local wood fire pizza place with many locations across New England, they even have a location in Hawaii and Canada too! Inside it was very big and they had outdoor seating as well for when the weather warms back up again. They have an extensive menu with gluten free and dairy free options. For my friend who is gluten free, this place was perfect because any pizza could be made with gluten free crust so she wasn’t limited in her options. They have your classic pizza options and then some unique specialty pizzas that you can’t go wrong with. Though I wanted every pizza on the menu, I went for the chicken bacon ranch flatbread that was drizzled with their homemade ranch. It was to die for, the crust was thin and perfectly crispy and the toppings were cooked to perfection. The service was amazing as our pizzas came out so quick, which is great after a long day of school. It was a great location to catch up with friends I haven’t seen in a while and share some great tasting pizzas!
